NU Job Fair 2026
Expanding Opportunities for
Future Leaders and Record Employer Engagement
NU Job Fair 2026, organized by the Career Advising Center of Nazarbayev University, was held for the fourth time and once again served as a key platform connecting students and graduates with leading national and international employers.

This year, the event reached a new level with the first-ever official opening ceremony featuring the President of Nazarbayev University, Professor Waqar Ahmad, highlighting the strategic importance of the fair.

In his remarks, the President noted:

"The Nazarbayev University Job Fair is a key instrument in fulfilling the University’s mission to prepare talent for both the national and global economy, and to ensure a smooth transition of students and graduates into the professional environment."

He further emphasized:

"This is not just a job fair, but a platform of career opportunities aimed at unlocking the potential of our students and graduates."

Each year, not only the scale but also the quality of participating companies continues to grow, and NU Job Fair 2026 was no exception. Around 118 Kazakhstani and international companies took part, demonstrating sustained industry interest. Approximately 70% of employers represented STEM fields, including engineering, energy, IT, and manufacturing. At the same time, companies showed strong interest in graduates from diverse academic backgrounds, offering a wide range of career opportunities.

As the President highlighted:

"The composition of participating organizations reflects the key priorities of the modern economy," providing students with a broad spectrum of career pathways and a comprehensive understanding of the labor market.

The Job Fair once again confirmed the high demand for NU graduates. According to employment data, 98% of graduates are considered employable, with the majority successfully building careers both in Kazakhstan and internationally.

The event served as a unique strategic platform where employers engaged directly with students. Participants took part in express interviews, received professional feedback, and established valuable professional connections.

Special attention was given to NU alumni, whose number now exceeds 12,000 graduates. Today, they are actively represented not only as job seekers but also as employers, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and further strengthening trust in the quality of NU education.

"Nazarbayev University prepares specialists who are not only able to adapt to change, but also to become drivers of economic and societal development," the President emphasized.

The event was delivered under the coordination of the Career Advising Center with the support of key university divisions and student organizations.

NU Job Fair 2026 once again reinforced its status as one of the leading career platforms, bringing together academia and industry to develop the professionals of the future.
